Church Stuff

As a Sunday School teacher and deacon at Johns Creek Baptist Church, I like to have a "place" folks can go to get handouts and other links to information we have discussed in class.  Although I have been teaching Sunday School since 1985 and have taken a couple of seminary classes, I am NOT an expert at anything (!) but am a fellow seeker, just like the rest of you.  I believe in Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  He died voluntarily for us to show us how much God loves us.  And that sacrifice gave us eternal life which is happening NOW - and therefore it matters how we live NOW!  We pattern our own lives after the life of Jesus.  Thus, we are all attempting to imitate the life of Jesus.  And so we study the life of Jesus and the lessons his life teach us.
